don't be too surprised by her not being aware of such a massive thing hanging out inside of her body without her knowing about it. . . i've had a couple of friends who've had those tumors, the largest one being about the size of a grapefruit. . .
and on a general note about your podcasts - this is probably just me and not your average podcast subscriber, but i've noticed with most all podcasts (not just yours), i can't do anything while i'm listening 'cuz i'm all old and can't multitask like that. . . even just browsing around, i can't listen to a podcast while reading a blog. . .
driving to and from work would be a different story - all things considered, howard stern, podcasts, those're all great on a 40-minute drive - and, i'm guessing car commuters are the primary audience for podcasts. . . but i normally ride the bus and like to read magazines and books while sitting/standing around. . . which means i can't listen to anything other than music. . .
i guess one of the cool things about blogs is that you can read a post in like a minute or two and then go on, but when, say, an interview goes on for like 20-30 minutes, you're *not* on your commute, and there's not much else you can do other than blankly stare at your computer screen or flip thru a surfing magazine while listening to it, well, that's a long time to hold someone's attention. . .
which, in my long-winded roundabout way kinda half-assed brings me to my not-much-of-a-point: like i said before, i'm guessing i ain't the target demographic for the typical podcast but i personally would be more inclined to listen to your podcasts if they were, say, in 5-minute self-contained blog-like chunks. . .
originally i wasn't gonna say anything 'cuz i figured i was just not "getting it", but bwg suggested i point it out anyway 'cuz you might still be feeling shit out. . .
okay, y'know what?. . . scratch what i just wrote, i'm a moron. . . i just remembered that the 3-5 minute podcast has existed for years, it was just called an audblog. . . which you yourself have done a few times. . .
i guess i'm just not a part of podcasting's target demographic. . . and i'm an idiot. . .
